NETWORK MARKETING MASTERY – THE FOUR YEAR CAREER
“Nothing worthwhile really ever comes easily. Work, continuous work, and hard work, is the only way you will accomplish results that last. Whatever you want in life, you must give up something to get it. The greater the value, the greater the sacrifice required of you. There’s a price to pay if you want to make things better, a price to pay for just leaving things as they are. The highway to success is a toll road. Everything has a price.” –unknown
This morning I finished reading ‘The Four Year Career’ by Richard Bliss Brooke. It’s a short and well written network marketing mastery book that I downloaded off Amazon for less than £2. Yep! I’ve had a book buying splurge and my Kindle is now “lock and loaded” to kill any doubts I had on network marketing! LoL
It is a short and concise read, it sets the record straight about network marketing, asset value, geometric progression, and some of the more inaccurate myths. It short, it sums up the truth and process of successful network marketing mastery.
Let’s face it, so many people come into this industry and do not understand exactly what it is they are getting themselves involved in or what the asset value of their network marketing business can be worth. But more importantly, what it takes to become successful and build a distributor network of thousands….it is exactly the same as what it takes to become successful in any marketing business! Work!!
I often tell my new sign-ups they need to work on themselves and their belief system just as much as they work on building their NWM business. If you want to grow, your mind needs to be fed just like your stomach! My shared success philosophy is: “Build the people and the people will build the business.”
I guess the idea for the title of The Four Year Career came from the from the Outliers book written by Malcolm Gladwell. He suggested that the mastery of anything worthwhile takes 10,000 hours of actual practice. I agree. Professionals treat network marketing as a Wealth Building Art to be “Mastered” and know that it takes time, patience and repetition. The trick is, you need a plan to follow. If you have not thought about it before, most professionals like to work two hours a day, six days a week, 50 weeks of the year, for guess how many years? 😉
Whatever company you are currently aligned with, every one who becomes successful in network marketing industry learned about the: ‘Two a day and 10 in play’ plan. Meaning, invite two new people every day to look at your opportunity or product and follow up on the last ten you invited until they say “yes” or “no.”
You are definitely not in the game if you are just thinking about it, worrying about it, avoiding it, getting organized to do it, waiting for training or tools, waiting for things to be perfect at the company…or the gazillion other excuses our fears conceive for not taking action. The key is to be consistently inviting, those who master it eventually master the four year career. It’s not hard. It’s fun and I know I can do it. Two a day and 10 in play is the perfect plan! 🙂
I am currently looking for 2 more “me”s. …. Just a couple of business partners who are teachable and have a burning desire to change their lives with a “whatever it takes” commitment level.
