QUINCE TREE BLOSSOM KICKS OFF A BLOOMING GOOD YEAR

It looks like we might be in for an early spring in my south east corner of England. My Quince tree has already started to blossom. I am a little surprised to see so many buds opening at the start of February because it doesn’t usually come into full flower until around mid March, even on the sunny side!

We have not seen much sun or had many warm days so far in 2013, but it seems things are actively growing fast out there! And it is nice to see some colour back in the garden to cheer up the grey and wet days!
